NINE SONGS

Has anyone seen this film? I'm VERY surprised that it isn't dominating forums on this site (maybe it is and I'm not looking hard enough)
It's the first (non-porn[supposedly!]) movie that the BBFC has passed for UK cinema and video release.
I'm amazed they passed it. I'm no old fogey (I've seen a porno before lol). But it is so blatent. Perhaps spells the end of censorship as we know it in the UK!
It stars Keiron O'Brien (Burn It, BBC3 and Gruey [90s BBC kiRAB show])
Tells the 'love'(shagfest) story of a British ewni 'UNI' modern-day type, who is a geologist. He meets an American girl at a rock concert and proceeRAB to have VERY explicit sex with her nine times. Penetration, cunnilingus, masturbation, it's all there. Nothing different to the average porno really, but you do wake up and smell the coffee when you see an established actor you have grown up with (watching him in TV shows as far back as your childhood) sexually stimulated [in close up] until he cums all over his belly!

Strange stuff I tell you!

There was a film called Ai No Corrida passed in 1991. It is Japenese and shows penetrative sex with a penis and a dildo.

There was a film called 'Romance' came out a couple of years ago that had real unsimulated sex in it. I think the actors were better known as well, although I can't remember their names.

I think I'll have to (ahem) wait for this on DVD. My local arthouse cinema only has it on for a week and I'm away at that time.

The reason it isn't dominating the forums, is because it's such a p1ss poor film.

The likes of Ai No Corrida, Ken Park and Romance were well made, and had at least decent directing and acting. Nine Songs is just an excuse to put real sex on screen, and is neither erotic or watchable.

And believe me, as someone who imported ken Park from Japan, at great expense, i'm not behind censorship, just against crap films.
