Anyone here bought a receiver recently and qualified for the free nimiq upgrade. There's no techs in my area as i live in the country. Phoned December 15/08, was told will receive it in 5 to 10 days. Never came. Phoned back and they said the address was incorrect. I'm in Manitoba, somehow they had me down in quebec.........never been to the place. Was told another 5 to 10 days. Never came. Phoned again, csr lookin in file said wow it looks like you've been getting the runaround. THANK YOU! Someone i could finally talk to with a bit of confidence. He made 2 seperate orders. one with OMX and one directly from toronto. Seemed my mailing address and service address are completely different. So he says he'll just delete the wrong service address and send it to my mailing address. Guess what, never came. Called back. Seems my service address and my mailing address are still completely different. Called today and she said i did it here with my manager, i'm gauranteeing it will get there in 3 to 6 weeks! that sure is a long time compared to 5 to 10 days. has anyone else had this problem? and if so what in the world did you do to finally receive it? One note though, lol, funny how the bill gets there right on time.
