There is a difference between fast drumming because it works with your music and fast drumming for the sake of fast drumming. Cryptopsy has fast drumming done in a way that is pivotal and jazzy which accents the simplistic yet weirdly timed riff style. Nile's drumming is fast for the sake of making the music sound faster than it really is. I **** you not when I say Nile seems halfway competent when they slow things down, but really just botch up the feel when they attempt to sound like generic death metal band 500000001.

I've heard of them but havn't listened to their music until today. My initial reaction? Awesomeness. Maybe I'll pick up the new album...
