Nightmare on Elm Street Boxset Help!

Hi, I want the Region 1 Nightmare on elm street boxset - 8 discs. Now I see Elm Street 1 - Special edition 2 disc has been released! I'm guessing all the extras from this new edition wont be in the original 8 disc set then?

That's right, they're not.

The box-set is great value though.

There will never be a definitive set of anything. Always repackaging, re-mastering, re-editing, whatever.

Thanks, I have had to buy the deluxe R1 8 disc box set, AND the 2 disc collectors of elm street 1!

I think its ridiculous I have had to buy the same movie twice because of different extras.

This is the 5th time I have had to buy these movies in my life, and I'm only 26!

First time was ex rental VHS because they all got deleted.

Second time they were all re-released on VHS

Third time they came out on DVD, was really happy.

Fourth time they brought out a R2 boxset of all 7 movies - which I have now sold to buy them all for the 5th time!

Fifth time is now - deluxe 8 disc set AND elm street 1 2 disc set.

I know there will be a 6th time cos im pretty sure they will make a boxset which includes freddy vs jason in it.
