I have very bad night time gerd.
It is driving me crazy at this point because I can't sleep, well I can but the gerd won't let me.
When I lay down to go to bed, my upper chest hurts from shoulder to shoulder. If I get up it goes away. My stomach also hurts where your esophagus and stomach meet and there just doesn't seem to be a comfortable position to be in. My head hurts from lack of sleep and I am exausted. All I want to do is sit and cry. I have been taking pepcid ac, which seemed to be working for awhile. I have tried some prescription meRAB, but they seem to make things worse. I also have been drinking Mylanta at night to coat my stomach, but that doesn't seem to matter to much either.
If anyone out there has any suggestions, or can say how they treat their reflux it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Laurie
