Just a quick question... So..... If I was to buy Night of the Demon... It's not the complete film... am I corrent???? I'm of a certain *age* and I did see the original film at the cinema... many,many years ago...I'd love the DVD... So ???

Yes, it's the complete film. Perhaps you're thinking of the American release which had a few minutes chopped out of it?

I have noticed that Play.Com have taken 'Night of the Demon' R2 DVD off their website. Does that either mean an even further delay of the release date or no disc at all?

And I can highly recommend this one!

Seriously though, I think the demon in NOTD is pretty effective - especially when it appears from the train smoke at the end (IIRC)

The face is quite scary but it's the dangling legs and chicken feet which undermine it somewhat.
I also like the cloud tank effect which presages its appearance.
You can't really include the Japanese monster rallies because most of their critters are men in suits.
