Night at the Museum

Went out with my wife to give this film a watch this afternoon. I wasn't expecting too much from this film, but I have to admit that it kept me occupied. It was a bit saccharine in parts, but it had good pace and some funny moments. Good to see Dick van Dyke and Mickey Rooney back in film, both being quite enjoyable. I wouldn't say this was a great film, but it certainly was a watchable film. Considering this isn't the film genre I tend to appreciate, I found it amusing enough to warrant it three stars out of five.

BTW, it cost

We took the kiRAB yesterday to watch this film. Cost a bit for the four of us but it was great. I would recommend it definitely, as We will be getting it on DVD when released. Plus I am not one to sit there through kiRAB films!
Tell you what I thought looks funny to. That Eddie Murphy film advertised before it "Nilbert" or something like that.

I thought it was pretty good actually
But As much as it was great to see Dick Van Dyke on Screen. I can't believe that it wasn't him that got to solve the crime. HE ALWAYS SOLVES THE CRIMES!

I wasn't impressed. I had such high hopes for it and the storyline had so many holes. I was expecting it to be alot funnier and be a bigger adventure. I was very dissapointed. It still had it's moments though, which made me chuckle. Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney were hilarious!

Oh,and Ricky Gervais was awful. His acting was so cringe-worhty and nobody in the cinema laughed once at him.

I heard this movie was alright; nothing special. I may wait for when it comes out on DVD. The holiday, however, was a great movie!

I will have to disagree with you on that - i was so looking forward to seeing the holiday with my friend telling me it was the one of the best films since love actually that she cried the majority of the way through. (i couldnt understand this at all, as i was very disappointed with it!!) However, i wasnt that keen on seeing Night at the museum and thought it was a great film - well worth seeing!! Some parts are very very funny!!!

I saw this movie it was ok some funny moments i will only give one little spoiler away, theres a scene in the museum where ben stiller is all alone and he is messing around on this telephone thing and when he sings into it it goes all echo so his voice is all around the museum. I was not impressed with the special effects i thought it was a bit BLAH or average, still a enjoyable flick for the family.
