Actually, I see that a lot of fans of mainstream rock like Nickelback are actually just fans of pop and mainstream rap (and many rap fans don't like mainstream rap either). It's a type of rock, but not generally the type liked by rockers.

Ok, they're not really a good band. Ok, they are a bunch of tools. However, I don't think they're as bad as some of the bands they're compared to. I actually really like three of their songs.

honestly they are more "successful" than me when it comes to money. But I would rather be totally unknown and play wicked awesome music that comes directly from my soul, than be totally wealthy and have all my songs the same..
