Was wondering about a good trail of moderate difficulty in southern colorado (ideally near durango) for a week long backpacking trip. All days needn't be spent hiking. Remoteness is a plus, as is availability of water and fishing. I'm from Arizona, me and a couple buddies need to beat the heat. I was looking at doing a section of the Weminuche High Route, but would prefer something that has a visible trail for the entire length of the journey.
