NHL Centre Ice - 2009-2010

ya i didn't get my credit yet either. still working on getting it :)

apart from that tho, does anyone know if this week's Edmonton/Detroit game (dec 3) will be available in HD? I think the game is on city tv edmonton (which is weird, i've never seen any hockey on citytv before). I don't think bev carries city-e in HD does it?
and if its on City (which is a network channel) would they put the game on CI? the pdf with the schedule has it on 433, which is a good sign...but it doesnt have it on the HD channels.

NHLH5 and NHLH6 are now available and both have games scheduled tonight. The channels are only in the 1400's, I believe 1455 and 1456.

Has anyone figured out how to create the NHL Gamecenter Live account yet? I called Bell and it's way too frustrating as they have no idea.

Am I correct in the knowledge that purchasing CI gives one free access to Game Center live?

If so, anyone here that has CI interested in selling me their Game Center live access? I'm very interested in it, but really only for a team or two so I'm not willing to shell out the ~$30 dollars a month they request. More than willing to pony up next year too if we come to an amicable agreement. Let me know.

looks like they've finally added the link on the tvonline page so you can get the gamecenter code....

go to http://tvonline.bell.ca/tvonline/servlet/CommandServlet?command=flow&processid=34

you'll see

Already an NHL

I tried the chat help on bell.ca. I cannot believe that they would raise the price of NHL Centre ICE and send me a letter in the mail saying how great NHL Gamecenter Live is and that I get a free account with my subscription, yet... absolutely nobody in my 3 calls and 2 chats have any clue what it is or how I can access it.

unbelievable...

You're right. NFL Sunday Ticket has never had a free preview before. Bell really wants customers to get used to having these channels and games. Once you get used to watching the games you want to watch, its really tough to go back to not having all the games on. I have Center Ice, Sunday Ticket, and Extra Innings but I will be dropping Extra Innings for next year. It's just too much money. I would really prefer a month to month option to get all of the sports packages for say $30 per month.

Last night's Flyers/Devils game was available in HD from MSG+ HD on Centre Ice. The first MSGHD broadcast I've seen on Bell.

that's not true

March 24th NYI vs NYR was in HD from MSG(rangers broadcast team)

Keep in mind that Gamecenter does have a lot of blackout games that gets me frustrated sometimes. Your local team will get blacked out, as well as any game on TSN, CBC, NBC or Versus.
The only reason Gamecenter is good is for travelling, or if the wife wins the coin flip. But then you can't even get the game you were watching.

The quality is awesome however.

In a way it is true, I did say it was the first MSGHD feed that I've seen on Bell. I never saw the Islanders/Rangers game on Bell.

Thanks for the heads up.
Not a big fan of the small print on the signup page though:

Got my account :D

Kind of hard for them to renew it when you don't supply credit card information. So I'm not too worried about that.

I'm just looking at the what's on guide on Bell's website. Sometimes channels that aren't available on the guide at home show up on the site.

CITY-E does not exist in HD, therefore cannot carry it.
There`s a few games in Vancouver on CITY-tv Vancouver as well. This situation has happened because Rogers Sportsnet was already committed and therefore placed the game on their sister channels.
