NHL Centre Ice - 2009-2010

I asked bell for this code and the SR told me right now they have no idea how it will work. It may be a code or it may be available on the Bell website after we log in. I don't think anyone really knows.

I got the same promotion for $44.75 and signed up. I was surprised when I called Bell, the CSR had to look up the pricing for the CI package and it took him some time. He quoted me the $51 price and I mentioned the $44.75 promotion I got in the mail. He had to take a few more minutes to confirm this price. He told me the promotion was mailed out to select new customers. Why I was selected I don't know because I cancelled CI last spring. The bottom line here is if you get the promotion and want to subscribe, speak to a CSR, don't use the automated system or order by your remote or you won't get the discount.

I waited for the mid season price drop to get CI since I would only miss 2 or 3 Sens games without CI in October and November.
Thanks to TSN2 and RDS. Not worth the full price when you include the free preview earlier this season. :)

Do I have to put my credit card # in the account info for this to work? That's the only part I didn't fill out.

Thanks

NHL CI channels are now in my guide. Looks like still just the 4 HD, same as years before.

Schedule has been updated and now goes through the end of regular season. Still some gaps that need to be filled in (eg most of the games are not listed in HD beyond January) but congrats to Bell on getting that list together.

Do they every post a schedule for the Centre Ice package? I want to know how many Blackhawks games will be broadcast this season.

Thanks.

Had a chance to call today and they said they saw the $7.20 credit on file (and 3 more to follow, I guess), but the credits are one bill behind. So... they told me to wait until the next bill comes and then double-check that one.

I am was curious on why Centre Ice (TV on Bell) doesn't have RDS games in package versus Centre Ice Online via nhl.com allows you to watch RDS games when it is French only. I remember last year I could watch RDS on Channel 123 but no longer. BTW I love Centre Ice online. I think it is fantastic.

It did not auto-renew for me and I needed it on last night, so the Overseas Phone guy I talked to yesterday said 4 payments of $54.95. I'll be calling today to get that fixed for sure.

EDIT: Painless phone call, aside from the usual 7-10 minutes waiting. Got the $44.75 payment rate because I was a targeted customer. No idea why I was one, but she told me that after looking at my account and I never even asked about it first.

If you call Bell and ask to switch to the new programming packages that they have had for about a year, you get RDS with your subscription to Sports 1, which also includes RDS HD. I switched over back in the summer when they took away TLC HD, National Geographic HD, and announced that RDS would be a part of the English package and Animal Planet in News and Learning 1. In the end, I don't pay any more then I was paying a month, I got one extra theme pack, and two other channels and only lost Oasis, Treasure, and Equator HD, no big loss, and gained back TLC HD, National Geoprahic and Show Case.

I would love to have NHL Centre Ice but I only want to really watch one team. So the cost is to high. But if Bell would offer a team option that would be great. For Example, if I wanted to watch only the Penguin games I could sign up for NHL Centre Ice - Penguins option and get only the Pens games. And not be have to pay $200 just something like $30.

FYI
I was not one of the 'preferred' customers. However I called today saying I heard there was a ~44 promotional price. She looked into my account, said I couldn't get that, but was willing to give me a ~30 credit (which is the same discount as 51->44 * 4) on my account to make up for not getting the promotional price.

I was honest with her. She asked if I got a letter I told her no, but that I didn't understand why some people get this discount and not me and she didn't mind giving the credit.

I called customer service to complain about the price hike. Last years early bird price was $179.99. The CSR couldn't do anything on the price, but gave me a $20 credit on next months invoice, so about a $10 increase for me this year. I can live with that since I would of paid the full price anyways....need my hockey fix.

Go Wings GO

I wish they did that but I highly doubt it will ever happen. I too pay the full $200 just for the Pens games. Think of it this way, if you pay to go to a game like I did for the Oct 12 game in Ottawa, its costing me $300 for 2 tickets so $200 for the whole CI season isn't that bad I guess.
GO PENGUINS !!!

"Watch up to 40 out of morket games a week".:o This was the crawl on 433, Rangers vs. Bruins. At least the first two times. It looks like someone caught it and corrected the spelling.

If I order by remote, is it supposed to ask for my PIN and use the phone line?

I don't even have the phone line connected and I selected NHL centre ice from channel 275 and it just said Thanks for your purchase. It never asked for a PIN or dial up.
Anyone have any answers??
