NHL Centre Ice - 2009-2010

No mention of any CI channels above 1000 at all...so hopefully November's schedule paint's a more accurate picture.

I just spoke with someone from NHL.com. He told me that BEV will issue a promotional code, and we'll have to insert that at the Game Center Live home page.

https://gamecenter.nhl.com/nhlgc/secure/registerform?intcmpid=GCL:lndng09

That will take price down to $0, but he said to not try and register before getting the code.

Looks like they will be giving a free subscription to NHL GameCenter Live instead of trying to do their own online service like last year. This is a great move in my opinion and really increases the value of Center ICE for me. The Bell version last year was crappy and had alot of problems.

Gary Bettmen on the NHL Hour said the MSG HD issue had been resolved as of March 17 and that MSG HD feeds are available to NHL Centre Ice. I haven't seen any yet on Bell. I assume this would be Rangers, Islanders, Devils and Sabres games. Anybody else hear anything?

SnooPac: I am not on Bell. I was pointing out that Shaw did not have the game in HD. I don't get RDS HD. Also, we are talking about CI. RDS SD or HD are not part of CI.

is the free preview on bell too? i only saw that on the shaw website.

and where'd you find that price? I scoured the bell site this morning and didn't see anything.

Yes, it's true, and Direct TV has started picking up those feeds on it's Center Ice package. Bell, Shaw and others don't seem to have realized that yet. MSG is doing tonight's Blues/Devils game in HD but neither Bell nor Shaw cable have it in their guides at the moment.

anyone else get a promotion in the mail for nhl centre ice for 44.75 per month for 4 months? instead of 51.95

I think I'm going to get it this year, I work for bell too so I get a 35% discount. which comes out to 116.35 with this promotion

First off you must have a bell.ca login account. If you have this already, then go here:

http://tvonline.bell.ca/tvonline/servlet/CommandServlet?command=flow&processid=34

Your access code is in the middle of the screen. Copy the code and click on the Go to NHL Gamecenter Live icon. Enter your code and complete the registration.

ok, i see it on their site now....they must have read my mind! that wasn't there this morning.

is there a newer version of bell's CI schedule?
the one here: http://www.bell.ca/web/tv/en/all_regions/pdfs/schedules/nhl_en.pdf isn't updated. Many of the games that are on the HD CI channels arent listed in that guide. For example, the game on now (pens/canes) is on 866/1450 in HD but the PDF doesn't show that. Its the same way for a whole bunch of games.

were did you find this link?
the reason i ask is that the PDF still only contains Oct games...looking for an update :)

There better be a few more HD channels this year. With the promise of more games in HD, and teams broadcasting more in HD, it's bad when games get bumped. Last year, and this happened more then once, the 4 HD channels were dedicated to a Leafs game, a Senators game, an Oilers or Flames game, and a Canucks game, while there were HD games between to US teams that would not be covered because of the lack of HD channels. The worst part, all 4 Canadian teams games were all being done by Sportsnet or a PPV channel. Hopefully a few more channels get added when they see how many games teams are doing this year. I see Carolina even has a bunch of HD games when they had hardly any last year. I also noticed the price did go up, 4 payments of almost $52, about a $20 increase, again.

Anyone know what the price may go to if you miss the early bird?
Additionally can you get the internet feed out of country (I am often in Europe and S. America on business).
Many thanks!
