ok so being in the nfl and everyhting the practices and al the conditioning has to be incredible hard and unbarable. so ud always think ud hear of guys quittin and complaining about it but u never really do? al they complain about is there money pretty much. i was jus wandering why this is

well i'm sure they do their share of complaining,as far as quitting goes its not going to happen, these guys are all under contract and are not about to go anywhere.most players these days are pretty well paid and have no reason to be complaining about their money.

to b in the nfl u have to be tough mentally as well as physically. pros have played in high school & college so they know exactly wat they are getting themselves into..thats y they say only the strong survive..

They are already in top physical condition, in most cases they have been doing this their whole life..can't be that hard once you are already in shape. Its not like you or I doing it everyday. I would imagine the toughest part is being hurt constantly and continuing to play. Why would they quit a game that they get payed millions of dollars to play.

They enter the league after years of training in HS and College knowing full well what to expect. If most who simply watch the game on Sunday were suddenly dropped into that environment, it would not matter how much money they paid you, you would quit eventually. Players will privately admit that the hits between a ball-carrier and defender are similar to car crashes (and they experience multiple crashes each game). If someone even thought about complaining about practices (which is as much a part of their job description as the game) - their life would instantly get twice as hard so it is easy to see why you don't heard anyone complain. Read some books by ex-players; a classic was North Dallas Forty (about a Dallas Cowboy wide receiver in the 60's). The first chapter describes him trying to get out of bed on a Monday after a game - No NFL teams practice on Monday - win or lose. The statistic that most highlights the toll the sport takes on these highly trained athlete's bodies is that the average life expectancy for an NFL player is 54 yrs young!

their grown men, their in the NFL, they want to play football, if they didn't then they wouldn't of even started in high school.

it would be ridiculous to have a 29 year old man thats gets paid 3 million a year to whine when the team did wind sprints.
