apparently google is going to close down their webstore meaning you can't order them online anymore. also supposedly google has also taken its final shipment of phones from htc so buy them soon! however google will still continue to sell nexus ones through other carriers though might be hard to get u.s. once they run out.

how is that ignorant? NO = nexus one... worst acronym i've seen in a while, but he used it in a n1 thread. unless you mean that the n1 isn't a good phone.. then you're the one we should all be calling ignorant.

Hmm ill hold off on calling you retarded because you took my post completely out of context. I know what he meant by NO. But to say that its the best phone is ignorant and biased. Even if you think it is you should at least state that its your opinion. Because that's insulting to all the phones that ARE better. Its a great phone. But there's several out now that are better

But apparently HTC are still manufacturing them, as they are having to source in new Super LCD displays for the Nexus One and Desire....

The Nexus still lives... well, outside the US that is!!

The Nexus One only to be sole outside the US!?
Really!

1) What's this!?:

2) and this!?:

Not to mention that when I called Google, and inquired about the stoppage of the (N1) sales. I was told, that only pertains to Google's online Store. Then I was given this link; (http://www.iwireless.com/phonesview.asp) (the second link I added).

I guess everyone didn't/don't know this.

from that iwireless store you can get the nexus one, i assume brand new, for $349. Hot dog, i really want one. But currently unemployed and that is almost my entire unemployment check. thatd be pretty fiscally irresponsible, wouldnt you say?

If this is true that a new Nexus One can be had for 350, then why ta hell are people charging 400-700 for used ones?

edit: i knew it was too go to be true, its with a 2-year contract.

I really want the nexus one to get cheaper, even on the used market, but something tells me it will plateau for a while and maybe even go up in price because of the fact that its awesome, cult classic, and no longer available through google, which makes most people think that its not available anywhere else forever.

From what I gathered, the n1 was not as successful as they wanted it to be. They wanted it to be available on every carrier. If they remade it and used up to date internals, id go nuts and get it but it lacks a couple features that id really like. Ie better gpu, front camera, super amoled and fix the touch screen issues. I'm with you though man, it needs to be cheaper

GPU seems just fine to me. Super Amoled,... screens not that far off. If you can tell the difference that much without studying it, anyway. Capacitor buttons was fixed with froyo added. But if those things are issues for you, just wait for the next phones with multi-core processors to hit. They should be hitting sometime next year, I think.
Yep, I can wait for an upgrade. Yes I sure can.

I guarantee that the n1 couldn't play sims like the vibrant. Also id want a super amoled screen because it uses 30% of the power that amoled uses.

well you could always become a dev($25) and still be able to buy it directly from google.

well at least no more burnin! but why not super Amoled. also not as if N1 and Desire are flying off the shelves. pretty sure samsung has the production capacity to continue to make amoled screens.
