Nexus One carrier question

My friend bought an iphone 4 and is going to sell me his nexus one for dirt cheap... I'm on verizon right now, is there any way I can get this phone to work on my verizon account????

Need to see the Nexus One He have,Because Nexus One comes in two flavors the AT&T 3G like the one I have or the T-Mobile 3G
 
Well technically only 3G works on the specific carrier, i.e., ATT Nexus will only get 3G on ATT. You still get 2G on t-mobile if you used a 3G ATT phone on it, and of course vice versa.
 
I believe the Nex 1 comes as a GSM phone only. It can work on T-MO or at&t. Verizon is a CDMA technology so it absolutely will not work. T-Mo & at&t = GSM; Verizon and Sprint = CDMA.
