Nextel needs Cingular's PTT Features

I hope SprintNextel adds some ideas from Cingular's new PTT. The availibity manager/icons, PTT to voicemail, easier group PTT (which seems not to cost anymore then regular PTT, switching PTT to Cell conversation, sending call alerts all of these are good features and I hope SprintNextel keeps them in mind while creating their new PTT. anyone else have any comments?
 
yes, I agree. They are cool but the reason they can do this is because cingular is a cellular conversation on speaker phone with push to unmute.
 
i feel that cingulars PTT will kill Sprintnextel i hope it dose ( yes i know i have NEXTEL but i have NEXTEL PARTNES ) becaus its just as fast as nextel with more stuff !!!
 
it will never kill nextel, there are entirely too many people that already have nextel, just look at verizion, they have had the PTT and it didn't do Shi.t. When nextel/sprint releases is upcoming PTT system it will blow the others away and leave them with sole control of the PTT market. it will have all the features of the cingular version and so many more, while still being able to communicate with the older Nextel IDEN based system so that existing phones will not need to be replace
 
I agree verizon and sprint have had it and it is not enough to do anything. It will be big for famillies (looking to save money) and that is about it.
