Nextel in New England?

Can anyone give me some insight at to their coverage in the New England area? I spend most of my time between NH and MA, sometimes in ME as well.

How accurate are the coverage maps either on the website or in print? The areas I travel are mainly urban for the most part, and seem to (at least they say that) have full coverage.

I've been thinking about switching to Nextel and when I've gotten close, keep hearing horror stories about dropped calls, etc. I like the a la carte features you can add/change to your plan(s), especially starting nights earlier; but what good is any of that if you can't make or hold a call?

Rumor has it the dual iDEN/CDMA stuff is in the works now too....

Thank you...:(

Can you let me know the areas that you are in, zipcodes if possible. I can pull up better coverage maps for most areas, and will post it for you.

That would be awesome! I live in 03038 and work in 01801. I know those are pretty much covered. I also travel to Laconia, Old Orchard Beach, Boston, Barre, Vermont, and Hampton Beach for work. I just wanted to get an idea about general coverage. I keep hearing mixed stories from people about dropped calls; I know alot of it has to do with iDEN and the merge with Sprint.

my network card isnt working tonight but when I get back into my office tomorrow I will pull up the maps. Do you happen to know if your in a communications or partners market? Just makes it easier to search. If not, I will be able to find it in the morning.

Communications. Where do you live? What I'm really trying to do is talk to people in the same area as me that have Nextel. I really want to switch but every time I get ready to do it, I keep hearing more horror stories about people dropping alot of calls.

I know that iDEN gets clogged quite a bit, Boost isn't helping, and now the future of the whole technology is up in the air.

seems as though the coverage maps are pretty close. I am trying to find a way to post the map on a website or something, giving me some issues.

I work for Nextel corporate.....or maybe it should be Sprint....my business cards say Nextel, so I am going to go with that!
