O.K.... I think I've been around the block long enough to say this in this forum for this topic...

UNTIL YOU HAVE A WRITTEN, OFFICIAL, PUBLIC NEWS RELEASE FROM NEXTEL, BOOST, NEXTEL PARTNERS, OR MOTOROLA... DON'T SPECULATE ON WHEN THIS PHONE WILL BE RELEASED. IT HASN'T PASSED FCC TYPE-ACCEPTANCE (ALL RADIO TRANSCEIVERS MUST BEFORE RELEASED IN THE U.S., REGARDLESS OF ITS RELEASE ELSEWHERE), IS MOST LIKELY GOING TO BE RETOOLED FOR iDEN/CDMA APPLICATION FROM IT'S CURRENT iDEN/GSM CONFIGS, AND eBAY HAS NEVER BEEN AN ACCURATE SOURCE OF ANY RELIABLE INFORMATION. PLEASE GIVE IT A REST UNTIL YOU HAVE SOLID EVIDENCE OF THIS PHONE BEING RELEASED. NEXTEL REPS KNOW NOTHING, TRADE SHOW REPS KNOW NOTHING. JUST BECAUSE YOU SEE THE i930 AT A TRADE SHOW MEANS NOTHING. doesn't mean this guy knows his a$$ from a hole in the ground either.
 
it will be on nextel.com first, it usually take a month or so after it is released to be on idenphones.motorola.com, but most likely we will see it released by southernlinc about a month before it is released by nextel. that is when we know it will be out soon, and I would not expect it before late summer, they have several phones that I believe they will release first, but no one really knows. You definitelly will not see any new phones before april 1 because that is when the current sale ends.
