NEXT WII/PS3 SHIPMENT THREAD...v.anywhere

The local Costco here didn't get their shipment in today and said to check back tomorrow. They have 48 on the way. I guess I'll have to get up there in the morning before they open and check it out.

I dont remember the article I read, it was a few days ago, but it said that they are able to make more then they thought, they have 6 million made, and will have 8 to 9 million made by the end of the year

I don't know though if that means they will try to get more out before Xmas or not, the article didn't say if they would or not, just that they were able to make more then previously thought

just post anything slightly better than a rumor in here if you have any info about when the next batch of ps3's and wii's are coming in. even if it's just a rough number, it would be mighty helpful.

my fred meyer (target like store) said they'll be getting around 30 more wii's within 1-2 weeks

I am hoping there will be weekly to bi-weekly shipments of units to all major stores.

More PS3s might be coming this week to major retailers. If Sony keeps up their word, they'll ship around 2.5 million units by the end of Christmas.

according to this news thingy the ps3 "will remain in very limited supply until the second quarter of next year".

nintendo apparently sold 600,000+ wii's already. they make what, $50 per console? that's 30 million dollars they've raked in already just on the console. although I might be wrong about the $50. also they have 20 games available now and 13 more coming. nintendo is doing this a lot better than sony.

Most Costco's either got 24 or 48.. (1 or 2 palettes).. also a majority of costcos didn't get the wii's on time it looks like.

EB guy told me another shipment of Wii's will be in on Friday. Buddy that works for BB said the higher ups are being tight lipped about the next PS3 shipment.

Some people who camped out got them at midnite of the release..and i didn't feel like waiting in line..so the next mornign i woke up at 7 ..headed to target..and they ahd 8 of them in
