A small block of mass m starts from rest on a slope of a hill at an angle pi/6 to the horizontal and at height h above the horizontal.

Find acceleration of the block along the slope and its speed along the slope when it reaches the foot of the hill. Assume friction forces
of magnitude mg/4 pointing along the slope (g is the acceleration due to gravity).

Thanks!

using f=ma
ma=mgsin(pi/6)-mg/4 (from resolving the force of gravity and taking away friction)
cancelling the m
a=g/2-g/4
a=g/4
