Where on the internet can I find out what the headlines/news would have been on the above date.

I know you can buy newspapers but basically I want to know for free.

Hi, um...ok. You would have to type in which newspaper it was?
Was it The Times?
The Mail?
The Telegraph
The Guardian?
That will narrow your search.
Then go to their website, and track back as far as it will allow you, using the search.


Or go to Wikipedia, type in that date. (Or just the year, then scroll down to the approprate date in their list. Click on it - It will come up with all the events that happened that day.

Or type in "headlines for 4 Feb 1966 UK"

Go to your local library and ask if they have any papers of that date.
