Wow. I didn't even think of how there would be less animation jobs out there, making it harder for those wanting to get into the industry and most likely for those who are still in it. That's really sad. It seems like they know that morning blocks aren't doing as well as they did in the past and instead of working on them, at least in this case, they're just quitting instead.
I would honestly be surprised to hear these shows be canceled, even though I could understand it because of the WB wanting to get out of animation. I was under the impression that 4Kids could keep some of these series with new episodes, but I guess that would require people who are currently working on them to continue when the network doesn't want them to.
4Kids will most likely be the scapegoat for WB's choices, which is kind of sad when you think about it. They're just doing business through buying what is up for sale. Some people instantly assume that 4Kids is to blame just because of their reputation. They may not make the right choices at times, but I agree with you that they're at least keeping cartoon blocks on television, which is more than can be said for the network in charge of Kids' WB at the moment.
