Diaz and Malignaggi is set for Dec. 12 according to Ring Magazine which will likely be in Las Vegas with Chicago not a far possibility. Malignaggi in the beginning threw jabs at Juan Diaz and Golden Boy and said "Juan Diaz can such my d1ck"! Now, seems that Juan Diaz is not happy about Malignaggi's words and want his fists do the talking! What do you guys think? who takes this?

lol@ BOX. If they fight in NYC, one New York judge might do the same except the opposite, 118-109 for Malignaggi in a very close fight. Lol. i think Vegas would be fair! Im upset at Malignaggi for saying my homestate of Texas is a state of cheat! But I like Malignaggi's chances to win! lol.
My mind is saying Diaz because he has improved since, but my heart says Malignaggi, Im really confuse at this moment! Not that Diaz is Texan I should go for him, but Malignaggi is an underrated fighter. I mean this guy lasted 11 rounds with prime Hatton and lasted 12 rounds against Cotto. I think Diaz might have gotten KOd by those 2, if not lose a decision. But anyways, I think they are evenly matched!
@ Elmer, we've always had warring opinions, but I have to give you a thumbs up for being a fellow Texan. I lived in this great state longer than any place in my life. You're right we dont lose to New Yorkers, lol! I think that's a scientific fact! lol

I think Malignaggi will win the rematch with a UD. He is a lot tougher than people give him credit for, He could have gone 12 rounds with Hatton if Buddy hadn't thrown the towel in. I just think he will out work Diaz and Paulie is due a bit of luck too

This is going to be a tough one, the 1st fight was to prove that both were still big and can be top competitors. Now, not only is Juan out to prove that he beat Paulie, but it can now be personal between the two. lol, I'm a friendly guy, (a yuppie in some aspects), but I pray this turns into a fierce boxing rivalry in which some trash talking and a swing or two are taken during the press conferences haha.I'll be honest here....I think Paulie barely beat Juan when they fought and I think this time around, the fight can go either way. Both fighters are tough warriors, but I can see this rematch ending in a KO. (maybe I shouldn't watch fights after a couple of beers lol, though) I saw in the first fight that all Paulie was hitting was Juan's gloves and his arms when he aimed at the body, Paulie did box a tad better and he does deserve the win. I just can't tell what the outcome of this fight will be, judging by the first, Paulie can pull it off but who the hell knows what'll Juan bring to the table this time around.

JON my man that is AWESOME FKN NEWS DUDE !!!!!! I hope they fight in NY lol

Malignaggi although he has little power he won that fight dude.

Hello there kabayan!

Fightwise I don't see any big difference compared to the first bout.

In my scorecard for their first fight, I have Malignaggi slightly ahead, winning by SD.

If the same judges are there and will fight in the same venue. It would favor Diaz.

Other than I think Malignaggi would win by SD or MD.

As much as I love Juan Diaz, Malinaggi won the first one in my opinion, though it was close. Paulie always speaks his mind and then some (see the post fight presser for the Diaz match) and Diaz doesn't have the power to hurt anyone above 135. With three judges who aren't on the take, I don't see why Malinaggi can't outbox Diaz again.

Thanks for informing me of this.

I hope like heck it will be in a place that is NOT Vegas or Houston. We don't need another rip-off.

That being said, I pick Paulie to handily outbox Diaz again. Diaz couldn't get past Paulie's jab, which is his best punch. Paulie also scored heavily using 4, 5, 6, 7, and sometimes 8-punch combinations. His footwork was sterling, Paulie danced around the ring beautifully, and it is because of this, that he made Diaz miss and miss A LOT. Diaz was tied up in knots. He looked like a guy who did not have any clue as to what he was doing in the ring. Brilliant performance by Paulie, though he got robbed. I feel Paulie wins a wide 12 round decision this time.
