John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who have lived through the tragedy of losing a son, can now announce the best news they've had in years.
Preston, 47, is pregnant, the family tells PEOPLE.
"It’s impossible to keep a secret ... especially one as wonderful as this," they say in a statement. "We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella"

I agree! I really love hearing the songs as well. The show is long but with the songs being performed it gives you a break from the monotony of it.

I'd much rather hear the nominated songs then watch some silly film montage that you know they will replace it with--thus not achieving the goal of having a shorter show.
I always liked hearing the songs...it breaks everything up from being award, award, award, end of show. Kinda makes it boring without the songs.
