News coverage on Michael Jackson? Anyone else agree- too excessive?

Anyone else think the media has gone too far on their coverage of Michael Jackson. I was watching CNN but got so sick of hearing his name pop up every 2 seconds that I had to change the channel.

Sure he was legendary and his music will live on for years to come but there has been way too much coverage especially when there is nothing new coming in. It's like everyone forget that Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon died this week too.

It will be much the same when Clint Eastwood dies.

Way to excessive! After one show covered him there would be another show coming on right after that covering a different aspect about it! We are having troubles in North Korea and Iran and they should be covered more!

Ok, so it is on A LOT! I beleive this is just because this is such a shock, and instant death with really no reasoning behind it-yet. No, I don't think people have forgotten about all the other celebs, Michael was just a shock, while the others were in the pathway of fate. I hope they all RIP..
