No there is not. Only when you apply ethics and morals into this, and which side in this conflict supports Western ideals, ONLY THEN is there a difference.
I view one nation's/terrorists group's wish to destroy all they can to be the same as one nation's wish to help others and live in peace with them.
Inevitably, when one views this conflict from a liberated of ethics viewpoint, there is nothing wrong about exterminating the Jewish race for once and for all. And respectively, there is nothing wrong about Israel's wish to live in peace with its Arabic neighbors.
Logically enough, only the West so far has stated many times that genocide is bad and that all people have the right to life. On the other hand, not one Arab nation has truly condemned Hezbollahs' and Hamas' goal.
No one has the right to say that Israel and its allies are good because they are civilizations which care about life nor does one have the right to say that Islamic fascism is wrong because it seeks to destroy the West as we know it.
There is no right and wrong. Just a winner and a loser.
