I have a friend who got married several months ago by the justice of the peace. Her husband is in the services. She no longer lives here but is coming back here (home) to have a wedding ceremony for friends and family.
She said she will put something in the newspaper if i can help her come up with what to put. I can't find any examples of this type of scenario, so i think im searching wrong. Can anyone help me find a sample of what i need?
No offense, Perse, but uh NO DUH. I need to know how to word it though to make it sound classy!
She will not be putting the exact date or location because her biological parents gave her and her sibling up late in life and she doesn't speak to them and doesnt want them showing up...so i need a way to announce it, without telling everyone where it is. I planned on saying "a church ceremony and reception is planned for May" or something along those lines
Thanks "HIS" but I don't think anyone understands what I need. I know how to do a standard wedding announcement, I recently got married myself. What I NEED is an example of how to correctly announce a marriage that didn't include preacher, parents, bridesmaids, etc...but will include a wedding ceremony in the future
Perse, please re-read my original question. I stated that I couldn't find the particular scenario online and that I may have been searching wrong (meaning I've already googled and didn't get good results so was hoping someone else had done something similar and had an announcement to share)
