Newfoundland in the Confederation Debate?

Hello, my class is having a Confederation debate, much like the ones in 1800s. I got the position of Newfoundland, and I need to state why or why not Newfoundland should join the Confederation.

I got a few points for each, but I don't think they're strong enough. Help!
