Newest episode of Supernatural "Monster at the end of this book"?

In the beginning of the episode, they go to the bookstore and ask questions as if they were investigating a haunting, but now I realize I don't know why they were in the bookstore in the first place! What led them there? Maybe they said it in the episode, but I missed it.

by the way....wasn't that a pretty wicked episode? Man I love those guys.
