I have spent most of my evening reading the board. Your stories are so reassuring and help a great deal. Since my shoulder surgery 2 1/2 years ago I have been addicted to hydrocodone.I am ready to quit and unfortunately will be going cold turkey because I didn't plan well. I have taken between 8-15 10's a day. I am a little worried because I just went through about 150 pills in the last 10 days. Since I was not getting them through a doctor I have suffered through withdrawl symptoms many times over the last few years. Any suggestions to lessen the withdrawl symptoms will be appreciated. I also plan on NA since im a recovering alcoholic. Looks like I gave up one addiction for another. I'll check in periodically for replies. Your posts have already helped more than you'll ever know.
