Just want to say Hello from Arkansas, name is Charlie and ride an 09 FLHTC, and love it. Buuut I do have a question.

My question is concerning the rear 407 tire on the 09 touring bikes. I already had the front replaced free (Thx HD) but the rear is cupping bad and to make matters worse, I had a flat on the rear tonight coming home.
Anyone know of these things just giving way, cause it went down fast and I don't remember running over anything?

Welcome from Tennessee Charlie. I had an 09 FLHTC and had the same problems you're having with tires. My Dealer changed the rear at the same time he did the front, both under warranty. I didn't even know the rear was cupping. I had it in for the front 407F replacement and he came out and said they were replacing the rear as well.
 
That is what I was wondering, if the rear was having the same. My Dealer never said anything about the rear. Well, now it is flat and when I tried to put air in I could hear it hissing out against the fender on the opposite side. Couldn't feel anything when I tried to reach up there though.
Wonder if it would be worth while to hit up the dealer.
 
Welcome to the forum from Boston.... I would at least find out what they say, can't hurt. If the tire is still under warranty, maybe you can at least get partial credit, or they might just replace it for ya.
 
Thanks Rumrunner99, it is under warranty which I didn't think of. I'll call them tomorrow or better yet stop by.
Thanks to LozoB and Ronp42 also. Still trying to learn the ins and outs of the controls here.
