Newbie Tries Android For The First Time!

Newbie here and love all the input and discussions.

I currently own a BB Tour and love it. I decided to try the HTC Eris with 1.5, Droid with 1.7 and Devour with 2.0 at Best Buy and see what the fuss was all about. Now keep in mind I do own an iPod Touch and was hoping they were even close in screen sensitivity. I was completely blown away!!!!! Not only were they just as sensitive (HTC was super smooth) but the open platform blew away my Touch. Customization was unreal and the web was faster. All I can say is "WOW"!

The HTC Desire is being released by US Cellular in July and I will be purchasing one for sure.
 
glad that you liked them. i think you will be happy. Just remember that anbroid is verry different them bb and apple products there is a learning curve. i have the nexus one and its the best phone ive ever owned
 
I think the Devour runs 1.6. After 1.6 the version jumps straight to 2.0 which the Droid runs. They're all very similar though.

Glad you like them too.
 
to be honest by july, who knows what phones will be out and what updates android will have (froyo anyone?)
