I have an 05 C50t, I like the looks of the hyperchargers, are these a good idea and would I require a fuel processor (Fi2000) so it does not run too lean. Any help would be appreciated.

if you replace the airbox you definitly need a fuel computer.

I have the cobra fi2000--plugs right in,no cutting, hardest part was taking the tank off to get to the injector wires. (also one of the cheapest and simplest to use)

as far as the hypercharger I was looking into that one but I have forward controles and was told that it sticks out too far and would hit my leg.
there are 2 types--regular w/open front and one with the butterflies that open when you twist the throttle (harder to install)

If you like it you should get it,they have cool accessories for it also, check out cruiser customizing for pics of parts.

Installed the hypercharger, went on smooth, fitment was flawless and fits perfectly(with butterflies working). I still have the stock pipes but now sounds alot deeper and like it like that. I also installed a cobra fi2000 and went on in minutes. I tweeked the pots a few notches to richen the fuel but not sure when to stop. The engine runs smoother than before the adjustments. How far is too far? and can it get too rich.[

I was considering getting a hypercharger body just to house my horn but it would be on the left side of the bike. Maybe it would look out of place, I am not sure.

Does any one know if they make a hypercharger for the new 109. I am not much of a motorcycle mechanic and I am not sure but i would guess that they are specific to make or model. Any information would be helpful. I am looking to customize a C109RT. Lern as I go type person.
