New York Restaurants - Times Square/Broadway?

Hi, I'm looking to book a restaurant for a pre-theatre lunch in New York in a month or so. Am looking for somewhere around the same quality and price range as Sardi's where we have eaten previously. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know!!! Thanks...
 
Right down the street from Sardi's is John's Pizzeria and Carmine's--both have great food and reasonably priced. Also close by is Tony DiNapoli's and by Bryant Park is Simply Pasta--both have great food and are well-priced. On 38th between Broadway and 7th is Arno's, which is an Italian restaurant that has a great old world feel with yummy food.
 
Go to planet hollywood, it has the best food and the price range is very descent. Plus it is in the center in times square and it has an amazing gift shop on the first floor!
 
You can't make reservations ahead of time at this restaurant but it has amazing food. The restaurant is called John's Pizzeria. It is an Italian restaurant. I have never been to Sardi's before nor do i know how expensive Sardi's is so i can't tell you if John's Pizzeria is about the same price as Sardi's.
