It's really hard for me to care about Voltron anymore. It was a last, desperate grab at the Super Robot genre after Gundam and Macross had killed it. It's outclassed by both its predecessors and successors, it's only saving grace being the first of its kind to take a foothold in America, where people still call everything that corabines a Voltron ripoff, ignoring that they're often talking about a series that predates it.

And after 3rd Dimension missed the entire point of having a Super Robot, I can't say I care about any further Western attempts.
 
The Devil's Due comics were going down some interesting routes that I wouldn't mind animated, but I don't see it sustaining a tv show, just DTVs.
 
I'll believe it when I see it. They've been saying there is going to be a new Voltron anime for years, and it has yet to happen. If there is one, they better use the designs from the comics, as Lotor was freaking kick ass looking.

However, right now, I just want friggin Dairugger on DVD already!!!!
 
The last time there were rumors of more new Voltron media (that weren't comic books) we ended up with the horror of motion comics.
