As of January 1, 2009 a new NAFTA agreement went into effect as to importing vehicles into Mexico.
It states, "beginning January 1, 2009, Mexico may not adopt or maintain a prohibition or restriction on imports from the territory of Mexico of originating used vehicles that are at least 10 years old;"
Based on this, what are the new importation laws and regulations for importing a used US vehicles into Mexico? I have heard nothing conclusive and nobody can point to any particular Mexican law.
