My mom took her car to the shop yesterday due to not being able to put the car in gear. Took awhile to get in drive to get there, but she did then once she parked they couldn't even get it into drive to take into shop! Once they opened it up they saw that the gear shift (inside) was absolutely COATED in a sticky (soda like) substance! She has had the car less than 6 months and has never spilled anything in the car! She's very anal about this. It was a brand new car. She is upset because the only way this could has happened is if someone who worked on the car poured it in there, or it was done before she purchased the car. Does anyone have any tips on what we can do about this? We know we didn't do it.
Good grief I'm asking for a REAL answer people, you suck those of you that are just trying to get points and say something! They've told us it's not covered by warranty because it is something that was done TO it, not something that the manufacture did. WE DID NOT SPILL ANYTHING!!!
