Although I happen to disagree with this law (harmful or not, I feel if an informed adult chooses to engage in a behavior concerning his/her own body he/she should be able to do so.) my question is what will happen to flavored cigars now that this has been approved? While I do not smoke, if i so desired could these products still be purchased online from foreign distributors? to my understanding the bill bans "the sale" of "flavored tobacco products in the united states" possession would not be made illegal, would it? and would ordering a product from overseas count as a sale in the US?
although i find the habit somewhat repulsive, i find the government's increasing presence within the private lives of its citizens even more disturbing, and hope to clear up some questions I have before I go complaining to my local congressmen. hope you can help! thanks!
