I'm thinking of filing for a small business since I've been getting a nice flow of business. I'm a college student performing a website service for others. I'm wondering what the minimum requirements are for me in terms of monthly/yearly income to have to legally file for one. What the advantages and disadvantages are throughout the year and come tax season. Any website that I might be able to learn all about the business license. I live in California, Bay Area if that helps.
