New to the BB with Tmo

I'm planning on purchasing a t-mo plan with a bb pearl, and I have a few.. "noob" questions.

1. is the BlackBerry Unlimited Add-on the same as BIS?
2. what plan setup would be most suitable for someone who talks frequently and wants to use the bb for its net + email capabilities? (independent)
3. do you get a BB email account with any BB plan? or do you need the BES plan?
4. Do the third party chat clients run fine on BIS? or do you need BES?

sorry for flooding- im sure these were answered countless of times.

1 yes it is
2 cant go wrong with the unlimited plan, that would be an add-on to your cell phone plan
3 yes you get a blackberry account when you get blackberry data
4 chats programs work very nicely on BIS

You do not need BES. Third party apps and IMs work with BIS on T-Mobile. You just have to set up your TCP.

Any BlackBerry data plan on T-Mobile will give you BIS (unless you get a BES plan). This includes the BlackBerry add on.

BIS will give you a BB email account.


How many minutes do you need? I have the BlackBerry Minutes and Mail. 1000 minutes, unlimited SMS, data, email. About $60/m.
 
unlimited blackberry data plan means you can surf the internet as long as you want, send as many emails, basically uses all the data you want. if you were to get lets say th 5mb blackberry data plan, you would be limited to how much data you can use. go over 5mb and they will charge you more
 
jailbaitryan, Too young, No Credit history, Poor Credit history. Any of these could be the problem. Have you asked if they would take a deposit for it, while you build up your credit history.

i have been with nextel for 5 years. i was 16 when i got it and had a $50 deposit and $300 credit limit. i still dont understand it to this day...they said i had good credit? cool!
