New to PDAs, is this drift? how to fix?

I have been trying to find info on PDA drift, I know what it is, but I don't know if what I have is drift, or something I need to have repaired. I bought my Palm TX used off ebay, it was in excellent condition though, and I don't remember this happening.

I have been using it in a leather case, the type with universal pda clamp inside, i don't remember it doing it before I put it in there, so I don't know if the squeezing could have caused it.

It seems like there is only one section of the screen that is affected (see image), and when I try to do calibration, it will make me run though the 3 bullseye loop maybe 50 times before it tells me that it is calibrated, and it doesnt fix the problem.

In the image, i took a ruler and laid it accross the pda and did a completely straight line in notepad. I moved the line I just made to a spot on the ruler to make sure that I could make the lines the same distance apart. The 4 lines on the bottom of the screen are the correct distance apart, and the cursor follows direcly under the stylus. On the top 3 lines it did not. On the top 2 it will follow the pen until i get near the left of the screen and then it dips down. The 3rd line seems to be dipping below the stylus the entire line.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Screen Protector's incorrectly installed can result in the type of "drift" you are experiencing. I can't tell by the picture if you have a protector.

Also, that squeezing case - get rid of it. That might be the underlying cause more than anything else.
