I am new to Nokia's and am trying to get either a N93 or a N80. Could some of you who have the phones, give me your input. Especially people who had one and switched to the other. I have heard good things about both phones and am having a hard time deciding. The only con I have heard, is the N80's battery is terrible. But I have read other places, that it is ok. Thanks for any help.

New to Nokia...Need help deciding between N80 or N93

I have an n80, and just got done with two weeks of testing the n93... both have their pros and cons, and I'd list some of them as follows:
n80:
Pros: smaller form factor, good camera, durable as hell, decent reception, great call clarity/volume
Cons: somewhat weaker battery life (though greatly exxagerated by some folks), not the greatest speakerphone, no optical zoom, not the greatest keypad
n93:
Pros: good camera, optical zoom, autofocus, AMAZING screen, fast processor, cool form factor, great keypad
Cons: craptastic RF, camera not SO good as to justify price, still not great in low light, a bit quiet in ear piece (the 'sweet spot' issue)
Just some initial thoughts.. any more specific questions, i'll try to answer. Overall, I like the n80 a bit better.

I got an N93... works great. Of course, Im from the Philippines, and there is no reception problems here with that unit. I especially love the keypad. Video is handy for on the spot or casual events/vacations. Great for gaming. TV-out is also a great feature.
Cons: hmmm... camera at low-light. Well, thats my only complain.
Make sure you got Smartmovie. Make xvids for your favorite show/movies, then BAM!

If I could have the N93 form factor and processor w/ the N80 specs, that would be ideal. They are both good phones. The n93 did have spotty firmware w/ v11 though. Hopefully the v20 will fix all the issues.
It boils down to personal pref really. I really liked the N93 but the N80 is a VERY solid choice.

it really depends on what you want... their both big phones and if you really want/need optical zoom or good vids then get the n93... if not then go with the n80
