Tomarrow I'm going to attempt to begin to build a coilgun. I have soldering experience , but not so much in this feild. I understand the basic concept of a coil gun is to use a bank of capacitators to charge coils of magnetic wire in order to fire a projectile. Thing is I need help with the switches, chargeing a bank of capacitators and any other things anyone can think of. I've checked around alot online and haven't found much on what specific electrical components needed, especialy for a power supply, chargeing and actuly fireing the gun itself.
