I just joined a local gym and honestly, I don't know where to start. I want to lose appx. 40-50 pounds and focus on mainly stomach, chest, and upper arms. What kind of exercises would you guys recommend? Biggest concern is the "beer" gut on the man boobs (lol).
Is it better to run while on the treadmill, or walk at a quick steady pace? Or should I just watch my pulse and get it to a certain level?
Which weights work the best, and how many reps/sets should I do?
How often should I go? Is it better to take a day off in between or is it more efficient to go every day?
