So I have a simple question from all the great t-mo users. If I have a back up berry what do I need to switch everything?

If i just move my SIM card and then run a DM device wizzard switch am I good to go or is there something I need to do on T-Mo's website?

Let me know. I am working on getting a pearl for a backup for use on the weekends maybe.

Depends on what kind of connection you are looking for. If you want all your emails when you switch to the backup device then yes, you need to change it as mentioned above through the email setup wizard along with the switch device wizard to transfer your data. You will then need to do it again when you switch back to your weekday device. If you just want your info and internet access but can wait till monday for your emails, then you just need to use the switch device wizard to move your data. When you go back into your original unit, your emails will come in as if you only turned it off for the weekend.

Make the device switch wizard to get all you data/info into the new device and go, in your new device go to options, advanced options, host routing table, click the menu key and select register.

After that locate the "setup internet email" icon. Click on it and in the BIS page select yes if asked to switch to the new pin.

Or log in to your tmobile account on your pc, select setup internet email and then select change device.

thanks everyone. just wanted to see how easy it would be. couldnt really switch with sprint like i can with t-mo.

one more question: sprint would lock you out of the BIS web page if you didnt change your device on the website before running a DM switch wizard. Any chance this happens with T-mo?
