just look at the price of 34.99. its data and email which is 20.00 and unlimted text for 14.99. tahts what i have. they are just bundling them together thats all. you still can get the internet by its self and text seperate too.

That I dont know, but you are you binded by any contract right now with them?
I'd just call and ask about a student discount, or if you can get the loyal customer discount since you've been with them so long. They willl work with you. Maybe a tmo rep can chime in.

I just extended my contract back in May to get the 8120, and then added the HotSpot last month because my home phone doesn't work (problems with the line) and I'm using my BlackBerry for all my calls.

We have a grandfathered FAMILY plan

Family 400 shared anytime minutes/unlimited nights and weekends/unlimited mobile to mobile and other TMO callers $49.99
BB Unlimited Data and email $19.99 (per line)
Family shared Hotspot @ home $9.99 (free wifi/uma calls)
Family shared Unlimited Text $19.99

So we pay $120.00 per month for all of us

After reading the posts on here, I remembered that my husband had a company corporate perks account, so I called up TMO and gave them the corporate info and now we are going to receive 10% off of our bill each month..

Does anybody know if you have a corporate account, does that mean you can order a new phone that comes out before the public? I thought that I read that on here somewhere. Thanks

Here's an example. http://consumerist.com/consumer/tmobile/cancel-t+mobile-with-no-etf-thanks-to-txt-msg-increase-246264.php
Basically, the change has to have a "materially adverse" effect on you. I've had fun arguing with Verizon over what "materially adverse" is . And there is a clause in the customer agreement that talks about getting out of the contract - you can find more info at that link.

However, if you already have a data plan, it shouldn't affect you at all.
