This is copied from my postings in Sprint/Nextel. Since we all at least attempt to flash em, though some of you might be intrerested:

Well, due to limitations I cannot comment too much on this nor give specifics or release dates, but great news for us on Sprint and Nextel.

I attended a Sprint Expert Wireless COnference today. All the top vendors for Sprint (RIM, Palm, Motorola, Sanyo, Samsung, HTC) gave presentations and hanRAB on with all their upcoming devices and roadmaps of the devices in the works.

Without getting into details, let me just say that Sprint is definitely stepping up their game hanRABet wise. EVERY vendor their had something in the works that has not been talked about on here. There are devices coming to Sprint/Nextel that are absolutely amazing.

Nextel folks- we are in for a treat. Motorola detailed out a ton onf new hanRABets coming to Nextel and Boost. These included both some IDEN devices and HPPTT devices. I did see and play with the v950 that has already been mentioned. It is frikin awesome.

Their IDEN hanRABets have not ben discussed nor talked about in here. Fior fear of getting into heat, I will not talk about phone names or release dates, but let me say NExtel folks are in for a treat. A bunch of multimedia, rugged, crazy rugged and industrial phones in the works. Some great flip phones that are smaller form factor, enabled with tons and tons of features; and also some industrial strength devices that the legacy nextel folks will absolutely love. I wish i could discuss this more cause some of you would asolutely be amazed at what is coming.

RIM talked about their already released Curve and Pearl and maybe a few other suprises. THey also confirmed and talked more about the new IDEN blackbeery that has been discussed on here multiple times. No details i can share, but us Nextel folks wil finally be getting something up to date and formed along the lines of the current BB.

Sanyo, as always, came out with their robust line of phones. They have always built great phones in my opinion, anr though they dont get too much into the smartphone and whatnot, theiie upcoming feature phones are amazing. If the consumer versions are at all like what they displayed and demoed, their will be great choices for consumers in the near future.

Samsung- dam. Lots of talk about the Instinct, some future updates for it, and a whole plethora of upcoming devices. I have not seen much posted about any of them already, so I will keep my outh shut to avoid problems. They have some COOL *** devices coming soon. SOme texting type deices, and some others. God- i wish you all could have seen these.

LG- Some crazy crazy phones coming. Something that will absolutely blow your mind away. Features that I have not seen on any other phone before. Form factors that are way out of norm, but extremely cool.

HTC- These may have been discussed, but actually got to see a few of them. Played with the Shift- OMG, if it was not so expensive, I would have one. Saw their replacements for the touch and mogul- frikin great. I have been and will continue to be a huge WinMo fan, and these are great.

Novatel- some cool stuff. Revolutionary broadband devices as always.

Folks, look for more info soon on these. I cannot put my job in jeporady again, so i will keep most of the details under wraps for now. Once I find other info on the web about these phones, I can link it, but absolutely cannot post the photos, pec sheets, and other info I have on them.

We are in for a treat- revolutionary plans, and now devices to match. My personal opinion is that Sprint is turning around. We wills tay strong (and no, I do not work directly for Sprint. I carry them in my store, and continue to supprt them. They have been good to me and I will try to remain good to them)

THat be cool to get a hold of some HTC phones seeing that they are almost all the phones that can be flashed over to Cricket and have there MMS and WAP work, well moto phones too that is if someone else picks them up.
