New speakers / AMP size for Taurus?

I have to replace the old paper speakers in my Taurus, and i have heard great things about the infinity series speakers and people being able to fit them.

I have a 97 Taurus SHO with the dreaded automatic climate control, and i understand these speakers will be very under driven on the old radio/amp, so i am going to put an amp in the car to drive the speakers/tweeters. My problem is i don't know what size amp i need, since i have never used/installed one.

I am not going to be installing any more speakers or a sub, i just want to replace the old door/deck and tweeters with new ones (since they are cracking/popping so bad).

Here are the speakers:

So what size amp do i need? I just want to be able to drive my new speakers, im not going to add more speakers, or a sub.

Also since i have not installed an amp, i presume i will run these speakers with new wires to the amp, then from the amp to the head unit. I will use the power antenna as the "on" for the amp, and use the speaker line pickup as the speaker signal (since i dont have jacks for a preamp)

So im replacing 6 speakers total, 2 door, 2 deck, 2 tweeters in door. I also believe i need a 4 channel amp and i wire only the door / deck to the amp?
 
Instead of purchasing separate 2-way speakers and tweeters for your front doors, why not get Infinity's 6820CS component system? That should simplify your wiring and reduce your costs, and (IMO) will sound better. Having tweeters at two different points in the door (as you would with a 2-way speaker and separate tweeter in the stock locations) tends to degrade the sound stage.

There is a wide range of 4-channel amps that would work very well for your planned system. I'd suggest Alpine's MRP-F300 as a high-quality amplifier at a nice price point. However, there are lots of other amps to choose from. You don't need to pay more for higher power; your speakers' low impedance rating means that you'll get all the power you need even from an entry-level 4-channel amp.

Note that there are no speaker wires present behind the factory head unit. All the speaker wiring runs from the factory amplifier/tuner pack, located under the trunk liner at the back of the driver's side wheel well.
