The T616 still continues to be the envy of all my friends, however I do agree about the text size while browsing the internet. Plus AT&T's new M-Life really REALLY sucks....

There are rumours about the new firmware upgrade allowing you to select your own tone for when you receive an SMS.

Anyone have the new firmware and able to confirm this rumour???

i agree it is a good phone,
i dont have probs with reception tho.. i find it to be quite adequate... although i have the latest ver of software etc on it
and i found that to improve it....

in order to tranfer files i use a prog called MyPicturesR2E
it was designed 4 earlier models, but the only featre i use is the send file to phone, it will send anyting that the phone will accept...
and i use it with the data cable
the only prob i find is that with the cable, i cant download pics from the camers to the computer which is no good

Got mine about a month ago - used to have a Siemens T100 - but the Sony Ericsson is much better. Best phone I've ever had.

Selecting your own themes for SMS messages received would be cool.

i just upgraded from a t300 to a t610 and i must say that i am impressed. not only is the phone easy to use, but the camera works well enough. and the phone was also much cheaper than any comparable models out there right now (for t-mobile anyways)

About you people complaining about the zoom...

If you press 1 while taking pictures, the camera switches between small and large display resolution. This results in approximately a 1.5x digital zoom.

They don't mention this in the manual either, for some reason...
