New Skyline Trailer

thanks for this....about to FAcebook it to everyone in a min...!!!!

i did like the teaser realesed a few months ago....

it does look good, but actually think the best bits may be in this trailer. the lack of a-listers isnt a good sign
and kind of looks like Independence day/ Cloverfield / V

i will be seeing it though....

Non 'a-list' actors and actresses can be good at acting, just because a film has no big names in doesn't mean it will be rubbish in the acting department.

It looks fun but some things look rather cheesy... and I don't have hope coming from Alien Vs Predator 2 directors...

First time I've even heard about this film :o Trailer looks decent and nice to have an alien invasion film told from the point of view of the civilians and not the military/government. Just have to hope it works out.

This is very true but it does have David Zayas (plays Angel Batista in Dexter) who I have yet to make it on the field of good acting. And if I am honest I am not a huge fan of Eric Balfour either.

The film itself doesn't look fantastic from the trailer, I will reserve judgement for when I see it though. I really like the fact that the Aliens entice the humans with a sparkly light - we are not moths, come on - I would probably survive because I would pull the covers over my head and mumble five more minutes

your both right - a film doesnt need A-listers to make them good and non movie actors can be very good. But I just feel films like this need a bit of acting power/glamour from non tv actors - to make the movie more of a movie...if that makes sense (i am mainly refering to a cult sci-fi one like this). But saying that - i enjoyed Cloverfield (the monster, destruction and production NOT the characters) and that had mainly unknowns.
AvP-R - i actually enjoyed more than the first one. but being a life long fan of the original comics from the age of 11 - they are both just wrong (the mistake was setting them on modern day earth - an instant fail) and and that Predator hybrid was just awful.....

I havent played or heard of Crysis, but from a brief search, I can see what you mean.
From this trailer - the movie does come across like a computer game movie, which i dont like at all. every computer game movie I have seen I havent enjoyed. And this film reminRAB me of one.
Or a big budget cult sci-fi tv serial.

I will still see this movie, but I must admit my expectations are low and think the best bits are infact what we have just seen in the trailer.

yes! monsters does look good. it was offically realesed online last week before it hits out screens. i want to wait until the cinema though, there is a thread started about it.

I really love these type of movies, they're a big guilty pleasure of mine. But honestly the trailer looks awful. I love the concept, and the clip where thousanRAB of people get sucked up is amazing.. but other than that it looks awful. The acting looks terrible as well. I looked up the writers and directors, and unsurprisingly they're all just special effects guys. Great special effects don't make a good movie!

Of course, I'll probably watch it anyway. :p

I saw the trailer for this before Paranormal Activity 2 tonight and thought it looked pretty good. But i've got to admit that the fact that it's from the directors of 'Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem' puts me off slightly...

And regarding other posters comments about 'Monsters': I saw it a few weeks ago and loved it, it's definitely not an all action monster movie though as the trailers seem to make out. It's more of a road trip movie focusing on a couple falling in love with each other...with a few monsters thrown in. It is really good though.
